Ten years after the debut of “Undici Pezzi Facili”, PAOLO SPACCAMONTI decides that it is no longer time for chasing a movie shot by others: no need for pictures of third parties to dig into their hearts. No guest then (or almost) for a journey into the depths that demands loneliness and that starts and arrives on guitar chords, unique bastion. Everything is generated by that tool if you exclude very few and bare beats, as in the hypothesis trip ‘Hop of Ablations’. The rest is sound that opens paths, suggests ideas, chases ghosts. Thus, the spaces of the studio of recording (never so present and physical as now) supported by the sound design from fine craftsmanship of Gup Alcaro, have allowed Spaccamonti to penetrate into a journey that is raw and intimate, dark but always searching of light.
