Little is known about this short-lived Italian project. In 1970 Le Particelle recorded the single ‘Per Amore’, which was quickly followed by their sole LP. Soon after that latter release the 11-piece, founded by vocalist Paola Orlandi, called it quits. Their LP, which sees a welcome reissue on 180-GRAM BLACK VINYL here, comes across as a pop opera, with multi-layered vocals and including covers of songs by a.o. Patty Pravo, the Italian band Dik Dik, and English acts s.a. Moody Blues and Rare Bird. The LP is presented with reproduced artwork and is suitable for fans of the ’60s and ’70s beat, pop, r’n’b and rock.
