Ruscigan is Guido Baggiani, a Neapolitan composer and trumpet player and ex-student of Karlheinz Stockhausen and Piero Umiliani, one of the most important masters in Italian music, and author of dozens of soundtracks and library recordings. ‘Disagio Sociale’ was always considered Umiliani’s solo work, even though it was no part of his official discography. Despite all the mystery and the discomfort of not knowing, this album from 1971 is now once again available on vinyl.
