Lido Sirena is the new album of the Italian producer GSQ, debuting for the first time with his birth name Francesco Fisotti. The project sheds new light on a new sound coming from the Apulian coast, diving into disco-funk sonorities, where synth and drum-machine sequences are enhanced by arrangements of various instrumentalists, as well as being the umpteenth proof of the producer’s versatility. Francesco categorized the sound of this project as “Adriatic funk”: a perfect mix between floating disco strings and solid weighty kick drums. The name of the album is inspired by a really existing shore located in the heart of Salento, where Francesco used to spend his summers during childhood.
