Punk only hit Italy in 1980, and the hardcore scene followed straight after confirming itself as one of the most active and interesting scenes in the world. Back in the day most of the bands came from the north of the country, among them: Negazione, a Turin based band which soon became one of the crucial Punk-Hardcore realities in Europe. Originally released by German label We Bite Records in 1988, “Little Dreamer” was Negazione’s second album. Compared to their debut release this second effort shows the first step towards a more eclectic sound approach where thanks also to an evident growth in terms of technical skills the band’s original inflamed energy opens up to a wider expressive variety of speeds and dynamics.
