Record Store Day 2017 release
Even for those who know Goblin’s music well, ‘Notturno’ is an obscure chapter within the group’s vast discography. The music was composed for a theatrical performance in 1983 as well as a seven-part television adaption, broadcast three years later. The work is tense and melancholic at the same time, combining jazz-rock and fusion with the sounds of the early ’80s. This release includes unreleased takes and features alternate artwork and a poster.
