Reissued on vinyl (including a CD), this is a rare 1971 library LP by Piero Umiliani. Some of the tracks on the LP were originally composed as part of the score for Luigi Scattini’s late ’60s movie ‘Svezia Inferno E Paradiso’. The music on ‘Psichedelica’ contains wonderful orchestrated pieces, space-age leanings, bits of jazz-funk and rocking tracks in the fashion of the era, best showcased by the two versions of ‘Hippies’. Excellent stuff!
