One of the most beautiful songs of the whole Italo-disco history according to Claudio Casalini, the owner of Best Record Italy. The classy side of Italo thanks to the lead vocals of Laurie Andrew Forsey (brother of Giorgio Moroder’s drummer Keith Forsey) and the two arrangers Bob Masala and Max Di Carlo. But this song is also another jam for the Balearic diggers! All the elements are present here, from the aching blue-eyed soul vocals to rich guitar solos and an irrepressible funk bedded down in the groove, here stretching out for a full 14 minutes of pure sunkissed bliss. On the flip, SIRS takes a careful run at the original that simply reframes the elements with a more pronounced rhythm section. Daniel Klein is someone who knows exactly what the track needs and declines to change anything for the sake of it. Classy stuff, as you would expect from a reissue on Best Record.
Brand new, never played, sealed (cover with slightly bumped corner and beginning of seam split on top spine)
